diploma
multiple
concerts
lead
him
through
Germany
and
France.
Soon
his
preference
for
the
high
trumpet
made
him
into
the
popular
interpreter
of
baroque
trumpet
literature.
1986
he
was
engaged
as
a
solo
trumpeter
by
the
Württemberg
philharmonic.
Since
then
he
contributed
with
his
actions
to
over
100
broadcast
and
CD
productions.
As
soloist
he
played
in
over
30
countries
in
Europa,
North
America
and
Asia.
A
climax
was
the
mozart
festival
in
Würzburg,
where
he
played
the
trumpet
concert
of
Leopold
Mozart
in
front
of
over
8000
listeners
in
the
courtyard
garden
of
the
residence.
His
CD
‘Blow
a
high
Note’
was
sold worldwide under the label KOCH DISCOVER and was especially regularly broadcast in the USA.
Since
2021
Carl-Friedrich
Schmidt
appears
under
the
name
‘Charly
Sunshine’
with
his
self
made
aircraft
on
air
shows,
where he plays experimental music for his own videos and soundtracks.

Carl-Friedrich Schmidt studied trumpet at the college of music in Würzburg. Already before the concert diploma multiple
concerts lead him through Germany and France. Soon his preference for the high trumpet made him into the popular
interpreter of baroque trumpet literature. 1986 he was engaged as a solo trumpeter by the Württemberg philharmonic. Since
then he contributed with his actions to over 100 broadcast and CD productions. As soloist he played in over 30 countries in
Europa, North America and Asia. A climax was the mozart festival in Würzburg, where he played the trumpet concert of
Leopold Mozart in front of over 8000 listeners in the courtyard garden of the residence. His CD ‘Blow a high Note’ was
sold worldwide under the label KOCH DISCOVER and was especially regularly broadcast in the USA.
Since 2021 Carl-Friedrich Schmidt appears under the name ‘Charly Sunshine’ with his self made aircraft on air shows,
where he plays experimental music for his own videos and soundtracks.
